RFKC Day 3 (Day 2 for the Kids) has come to a close (11:37pm here).  What an awesome day we had.  From the pool, to the Activity Centers, to the teachings & drama.  From riding horses (some of them for the first time – kids & counselors!) to the talent show to the time of ministry.  An incredible and full day!  God is really doing something in the lives of these kids.

We just don’t know how many future presidents, business leaders, evangelist, pastors, and teachers we have in our midst.

For they are a CHOSEN GENERATION!

RFKC Day 2 (Day 1 for the Kids)

With Day 2 in the books at 12:04am (Day 1 for the kids), we can look back and say what a great 1st day.  With majority of kids coming together, but then others arriving later we ended up with 22 kids for this years camp.  And what an incredible group of kids they are!  Tomorrow will seeing the Activity Centers in full swing as well as the Bible teachings & drama for this year’s theme – The Royal Court.  What a great thing to teach these kids – that God has called them to be Kings & Queens in this life & that they’re part of God’s Royal Family!

RFKC 2010 – Day 1

January 18, 2010 Paul Bowers Leave a comment

RFKC 2010 is under way!  24 counselors & staff hit the camp hard tonight (it’s 1:12am as I’m writing this post) to get things ready for when the 21 kids get here tomorrow around 11:00am.

We are expecting GREAT things this week, not only for the kids, but for the team as well.  Please join us by praying for the kids, the counselors, the staff and for the whole week.  We want to see God have His way in the lives of these kids, many of them coming from some very ugly backgrounds.

God help us be useful instruments in Your hands!
