Royal Family Kids Camp 2008
February 17th kicked of this year’s Royal Family Kids Camp here in Lima & oh what a week it was! With nearly 60 people here at the house (30 kids & 28 Staff & Counselors), we were full!
The week was loaded full of activities, games, programs, dramas, puppets, inflatable games, time in the pool, and more! Why? Just so these kids, who have been through so much could have a week that they would never forget, a week of POSTIVE MEMORIES, a week full of FAMILY – The Family of God. And not only did they get to participate in all the events & activities, they also received gifts, a backpack, a CD, a Bible, and lots of love!
This year’s theme was the Olympics & that God wants YOU to be on His team. He hand picked you, He chose you! You’re not on His team just beause no one else wanted you, you’re on His team because He believes in you. I know how this makes me feel & I had a great childhood. Now imagine you’re a child that has come from so much rejection, abuse, problems. Yeah, this message is impacting & changing the lives of these kids & you all are a HUGE part of it!!

You guys are the best! Congratulations on another successful year of RFKC. We had a wonderful banquet on February 28th and a fantastic leadership conference on February 29th. Our prayers continue to be with you all as you lift the lives of the abused, abandoned and neglected of Peru.
